Jill Sampson

Jill is a reliable legal advisor whose guidance has helped hundreds of businesses and individuals navigate their legal matters with ease. Jill joined the firm as an associate in 2016, and became a partner in 2022. Prior to that, she grew up in the Toronto area. Jill attended the University of Windsor and obtained a B.A. (Hons.) with a double major in Communication Studies and Criminology, later returning to Windsor for law school.

After articling in Essex, Ontario, Jill was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2004 and moved to Grey County with her husband. Since that time, she has been in private practice in the Grey Bruce area. Jill practices in the areas of Corporate and Business Law, Real Estate, Wills and Estates and Municipal Law. She particularly enjoys her work on business files, as she finds it rewarding to watch a business develop throughout its lifetime. Jill is past President of the Owen Sound Rotary Club, and has sat on the Owen Sound Police Services Board.

Jill and her husband are happy to have settled into such a welcoming community to raise their family. When not exercising her creativity to meet her clients’ legal needs, Jill enjoys dabbling in other creative pursuits: sewing, painting, and (of course), the creative problem-solving required to raise three children! As the newest partner at the Alliance, Jill is excited to share her experience with the associates in her new role as mentor.
